The first session of the 2008 District Conference will begin on Thursday April 24 at 5:30 pm and will close on Sunday, April 27, at 10:30 am
following the last session. (Tentative time for opening registration is Thursday, April 24, 3:00 pm) To encourage “on-time” participation at the
opening session of the conference on Thursday, extravagant door prizes will be awarded. (BIG! FABULOUS!) Obviously, one must be in the session
to win! We hope that Rotarians will come a day early or stay a day or two later to enjoy Chateau Elan amenities. The hotel will honor the
conference rate for those wishing to extend their stay.
Whats Different
We are back on the three day conference schedule with fabulous speakers, entertainment, optional activities and all at “The most
romantic hotel in Georgia”! We are providing many fellowship opportunities & free time, and we will be encouraging those with the desire
and the time to invest in more conference fellowship and free time, to add a day or two to the planned activities. In this way, Rotarians
have the option of choosing a time that best suits their personal schedule, either a day or two before conference or a day or two after conference
to really take advantage of Chateau Elan RESORT. If you make reservations at the time you book your room for the conference, Chateau Elan will
honor the conference rate for these additional days.
Saturday Banquet
Rotarians and their guests registered
for the conference and
staying at Chateau Elan will be included in the District Conference Banquet reservations and will not need to make dinner reservations for
Saturday night’s dinner and activities.
